
ABHC study – User guide
The sleep sensor is an ‘under mattress’ sensor that can detect heart rate, breathing rate, and movements of the user. Once it is installed it will require very little maintenance or adjustment. It is compatible with all mattresses (other than water or air mattresses). You will not be able to feel the sleep sensor through the mattress when you are in bed and can continue with your normal sleep routines.
Installing your Sleep Sensor using WiFi

If you have not been sent a Data Hub with your Sleep mat, or prefer to connect the Sleep mat through your WiFi, then please follow these instructions:
Installing your Sleep Sensor using the Data Hub

The Data Hub (pictured above) is used as an alternative to connecting to Wifi, and it sends data directly via a cellular network (like a smartphone). Similar to a smartphone however, signal is not available in all locations, and we have found the Wi-Fi connection to be more reliable, so we prefer to use that where possible.
If you have been sent a Data Hub with your Sleep sensor, then please follow these instructions to connect your Sleep mat:
